Aliro Upgrades

This site is the source for Aliro upgrades. The history gives details of the software level that is currently provided. Any Aliro site can be automatically upgraded to the level provided here through a very simple procedure. It is documented at http://docs.aliro.org/UpgradingAliro.

The upgrade is comprehensive, removing any obsolete items as well as adding new items and upgrading any changed items. You do not need to provide any information as the process works entirely by evaluating the files in the subject Aliro and comparing with those found here.

Although this site will certainly be updated with new releases, it will also carry interim changes that are considered safe to be released in isolation. All such changes will be listed in the history. So you will be able to obtain and easily install patches for problems that are found and fixed between releases. In the event of a security problem, this site will be updated with a solution as quickly as feasible.

You are not required to log in to this site to obtain an upgrade.

In future, the mechanism will be given the option of using alternative sites, so that you can set up your own reference site at a particular level of Aliro and update other sites from it.
